How can we help?

Can you program codes for use, so someone couldn’t operate it without one? Is there a lock screen? Do any of your other tablets do this?

The best way domes are protected from unauthorized use is by keeping the headphones safe or the dome in a secure area. We don’t recommend shutting the dome down and powering it back on daily or several times a day as this forces it to go through a new cycle of reinstating contact between the controller and local tablet. It’s best to allow it to operate consistently and get regular use rather than there being barriers to use.

That said; to the extent that sessions are monetized in environments like spas or wellness clinics, these businesses have operations that oversee booking, payment, and use. And the dome is not accessible otherwise.

To the extent it is operated in environments like private clubs or residential living or corporate wellness where the dome is open to communities, each location decides. –

Is it on a first come / when available basis, or do they want to have a scheduling system to help book time. Maybe they have an office or a desk that holds the headphones.

There is a special hard wired audio cable connecting the headphones to the base of the dome, you can’t just use “any headphones” either. They have to be Somadome wired headphones that come with your dome.

Even once we launch our app, which will offer a broader UX to the end user, all domes will be able to pair with the app to access our UX, as it evolves.

Locking the touch screen for us, was not the solution.
