Yes of course. 😉 We’re continually improving upon our hardware and software which means that, like all technology products, your Somadome hardware or software may eventually need to be updated or upgraded. If an electronic part on your dome breaks and we have since discontinued use of that component, we may need to upgrade or “retrofit” your hardware to the current system that is in use. For example, we are currently working to further improve our touch screen and control system to not only make it more robust to stand up to heavy use, but to also begin introducing new software features to enhance the Somadome experience. When this system is ready, we will let our current dome owners know that the upgrade is available and at what cost their dome can be upgraded for. Current dome owners may want to upgrade to improve upon their dome, or keep their current system if it is working well for them. We will always provide our dome owners with all of their available options.
